We are halfway through our production "The Uno Effect" and the children have been stars- both in the classroom.
I am particularly impressed with their final Olympic Inquiry's. These look incredible professional and are full of interesting facts and figures. So many new skills were needed to complete these assignments and the children rose to the challenge.
We also explored many different 'Narrative' topics during our literacy sessions... Grandma chicken legs, haunted house, abandoned factory, dangle, spontaneous writing, character writing, impact writing, floating earth, falling piano, star-ship crash, a man walked up a hill and many more.
Then there was all of the visual arts.... Urn's....blending masks.... Art club...
Then there was art splash, maths-well, football and rugby tournaments, hockey competitions, BP tech challenge, peer mediators, librarian duty, portfolio, ICT... and somehow the children still managed to smile and enjoy school...
PHEW!!!!
