Parihaka..."Home of Heroes"

The children have done so much researching and learning this week.  Here they are writing in what we have learned about Parihaka and the heroes "Te Whiti and Tohu" who, even in a time where waring and fighting was common, were determined to have their voices heard through peaceful means.  They truly are the fathers of the global passive resistance movement...  Our Heroes.
