Exploring how the school values can link to our classroom expectations.
Gathering data for a mini statistical investigation...
We gathered data from a pool of 20 people. The reason we used 20 people is because it is a multiple of 100, this makes it easy to turn the data into a percentage. We could also have used 25, 50 or 100 participants. Ms Berry taught us how to use the formula stat x 5 = %
Next we collated the data into a Bar Graph...
We had to follow a criteria to make sure our graphs were clear and accurate.
Finally we made statistical statements about our data.

SELF PORTARITS AND OPTICAL ILLUSIONS
VISUAL ARTS
SELF PORTARITS AND OPTICAL ILLUSIONS
We began the term by exploring pencil sketching and shading. By combining photographs and graphite the children were able to create an artwork which seemed to trick the eye. Once the sketches are complete we will create interesting borders using a collage' technique. Our focus this term is 'drawing what we see, not what we think we see'....
here are some of the works so far...
And that is just Monday and Tuesday!!!

Wow, a jam-packed first two days, analytic and creative activities; what more could we (parents) ask for? Nothing!
