Writing Haiti Reports

Today we began to investigate the Haiti disaster by gathering interesting information and key facts. We will use our research to write quality reports. We are focusing on asking questions and interpreting information so the content is informative and of a high quality.
Firstly we used a 5'S brainstorm t gather relevant info about the quake. We watched BBC news casts, interviews, read news paper reports, looked at photographs and read quotes from survivors. We worked in groups and made sure we had facts on as many different areas as possible. We used the links Ms Berry put on our blog to conduct our internet research. Some of us were lucky enough to work in a small group with Mrs Mac Pherson. We enjoyed the 'we are the world' movie Ms Berry showed us to focus our attention at the beginning of the lesson.
