Today we had a very special, and fun visit from Card game designer Jill Hemming. Jill has created a game called 'Cloak of Protection'. This game is a superbly exciting card game which challenges and educates children as well as builds strategic and problem solving skills. The aim of the game is to build your own cloak, made up of birds from four different realms - the forest, the sky, the earth and the underworld (extinct).
This game will be available for purchasing from the Muritai-Enviro stand- outside room 3 at the carnival on Sunday. Room 14 students will also be there demonstrating how the game is played on the day.
It is $35, and $10 of this goes to the schools 'enviro' program.
