Trees to paper to paper trees!

Today we began our 'explanation writing'  unit. Firstly the children worked in pairs to complete a fun technology challenge. Once we had made a forest full of paper trees the children had to write a clear, interesting and concise explanation of the process they had been through. They also focused on adding relevant illustrations to support their text. Here are some pictures if the process.
